For Dental Professionals

Early in his career Dr. Malin discovered that the implant techniques currently in use couldn’t deliver a standard, predictable result. Therefore, with the help of other experts in the fields of radiology and occlusion, he pioneered a implant placement technique which focuses on occlusion (and cosmetics) to make the placement of dental implants more functional, cosmetically pleasing and predictable. This led to the development of the Neuromuscular Implant System (NIS).

With the NIS, Dr. Malin’s mission has been to raise the level of patient care concerning the placement of dental implants by both the General Practitioner and the Specialist who recommend and place implants as part of the best course of treatment for specific dental conditions.

In addition, Dr. Malin utilizes coDiagnostic, a three-dimensional software protocol. When combined with the patient's CT scan coDiagnostic allows the doctor and laboratory, in-conjunction, to measure and plan implant placement, as well as any necessary bone grafting, prior to surgery day. His goal is to have every implant placed in the United States and Canada to use tomography and guided stents in order to absolutely guarantee a correct placement resulting in balanced occlusal forces and the best aesthetics possible.
